Prayer

"O Heavenly King, the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, Who art everywhere and fillest all things; Treasury of Blessings, and Giver of Life - come and abide in us, and cleanse us from every impurity, and save our souls, O Good One."

A wonderful prayer. I will tuck it into my bible. Scott, is it your own?

Owen, no. Absolutely not. It's an Orthodox prayer that is simply stunning. It's prayed daily in Orthodoxy and in the Eastern Catholic rite. If I were to ever write a prayer half so beautiful, I would be a happy man.

I apologize for not giving the source. It's so much on my mind lately, it didn't even occur to me - like the Jesus prayer or a prayer from the novus ordo liturgy or a Psalm.

I'll throw a citation up there for future readers.
