Duplo Angels

The Raccoon got a big box of Duplo blocks for his birthday. He's quite the engineer: He opens the box, lifts it as high as possible, and dumps all the blocks over his head and onto the floor. He then lies in the blocks and either swims through them or makes Duplo angels in them. I clean them up an hour later. He repeats the exercise, as often as he feels necessary.

I'm looking for the receipt.

This morning after creating an intricate and well-thought-out mess with the blocks, he got up, took off his diaper, walked into the girls' bedroom and peed on the floor - little urine Raccoon tracks exited the puddle, making quick work out of tracking him down.

Ah, yes - boys are the walking embodiment of entropy.

Once my two older boys were playing Gamecube upstairs - ages 6 and 4 at the time, I believe. All of a sudden, there's a scream of horror and shock. We head upstairs to find out what had transpired. The younger one had wanted a turn, but the older wasn't forthcoming, so he took matters into his own hands. He pulled down his pants and peed all over his brother.

Entropy, man. Entropy.

Sounds like you have a very independent lad there. My little son once went outside, and went in a frisbee. It was easier for him as he was in training pants, not a diaper. Every kid in the neighborhood reported to me, "Michael filled the frisbee!"

Have a nice day.
