(1) No wait time (theoretically) for publishing your posts. (2) You can assign labels to your posts (so you can search or browse by category rather than simple chronology). (3) Easier to change the look of your blog - some drag and drop features, easier to change fonts and colors.
There are other things, but that's what I've noticed that affects the way I use it.
It's kind of cool actually. Nice to have a change. Still pretty basic stuff, but nice.
