Does anyone else get these crazy automated phone calls: "Please return this call at [toll-free number]." Excuse me? Like I'm going to call someone who gives me no more information than that. Pleeease. I may be desperate for post-preschool, semi-intellectual, human contact and all, but I'm not that desperate.

I get similar calls. My most annoying one is a call that comes and says, "This is credit card services. There are issues with your account, and it is imperative that you call us immediately to resolve these."
It's fraudulent, plain and simple. They're some sort of debt consolidation program or whatever.
I started keeping a record of when they called me, so that I could report them after I asked them not to call me.
